To promote sustainable scrap metal management for the legal and regulatory aspect, improve and harmonize national policies and regulations from metal recovery activities with consistency of Stockholm convention.

To disseminate the information of U-POPs and BAT/BEP and build capacity of scrap metal management through the training for operators.

To pilot the application of BAT/BEP for implement the selected metal recycling facilities to enhance efficiency and reduce U-POPs release and more environmental-friendlier.
